🔧 Installation Overview

  • Step 1: Install to a New Directory
Do not overwrite your existing TurboCASH installation.
Create a new directory (e.g., C:\TurboCASH5_3) to isolate the Unicode environment.
This ensures clean separation between legacy ASCII data and the new Unicode architecture.
  • Step 2: Launch and Configure
Run the installer and follow prompts to set up your environment.
Choose your preferred language and regional settings—Unicode support now allows full localization.
  • Step 3: Migrate Your Books
If you are familiar with File Explorer,
each set of books sits by default in C:\TCASH5\BOOKS.
Copy the directories you want from your \TCASH5\Books folder to your new \TCASH5_3\books.
The system will convert legacy ASCII data to Unicode during import.
Review your chart of accounts, customer/supplier names, and descriptions for encoding anomalies.
