Reportman output - Save metafile as Excel file
The Excel files can be opened in Microsoft Excel. If you do not have Microsoft Excel installed on your system, you may open the Excel file in alternative spreadsheet components of LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Ultra Office, etc.
To save reports or document layout files as a Excel file:
1.On the "Reportman print preview" screen, select Save (Ctrl+S) – This will launch the “Save Metafile As” screen.
2.Select the directory (folder) where you need to save this file, if necessary.
3.Enter a file name.
4.Select the "Excel file (one sheet)" or the "Excel file" file type.
"Excel file (one sheet)" - For example, a Trial balance consisting of 2 or more pages, will be opened in one sheet.
"Excel file" For example, a Trial balance consisting of 2 or more pages, will be opened in separate sheets for each page (e.g. Sheet1, Sheet2, etc.).
