The workflow plugin allows you to record the steps or processes of a task.
The different screens osFinancials / TurboCASH can be created such as the inventory screen or customers / vendors and documents. This allows you to record almost every conceivable process (steps) in a task, visualize and gain instant insight wherever you are in the process and what steps have been taken before.
A step can be assigned to a user and an administrator can see all workflow steps not done (outstanding steps) and possibly assign a task to a user. Outstanding transitions that are possible after showing the step.
Workflow is a knowledge system that can gain your knowledge or just to share it with others. This allows you to formalize your business and capture the steps in an automated system.
Another advantage is that you retain a better overview of your running processes and you have historical data at hand.

The set of books can be viewed in different languages, therefore it is possible an employee enters information into an English Set of Books and a bookkeeper, auditor, etc. can see the set of books in a set language, e.g. Afrikaans, Dutch, etc.

Plugins are installed when installing TurboCASH / osFinancials. By default, no plugins are available on the Plugins menu. Any of the Plugins, except the Bank import plugin, need to be activated to be listed on Tools → Activate plugins menu on the Setup ribbon.
Some of the Plugins has a nag screen, some plugins are limited to a number of records, etc. Plugins need to purchased from the online osfshop and need to be registered (on the Setup ribbon, select Tools → Activate plugins), before you can use them.
Some Plugins need to be activated for each Set of Books. If you have purchased a plugin, you may use it in any Set of Books.
The Plugins menu structure (activated - on the Setup ribbon, select Tools → Activate plugins), is as follows:

With this plugin you can email your documents (invoices or estimates). Each email you sent can get a different layout. For example: an invoice gets a different layout from a estimate. You can create the email layout yourself. For that reason you decide what kind of email you will send.
It is also possible to send multiple examples of you documents at once. Therefore the document layout and email layout of the documents you want to send have to be the same.
It's even possible to send multiple document at the same time. Therefore the documents most be the same type (f.e. estimate or invoice). With this plugin you can send digital (pdf) sales documents (i.e. invoices, credit notes and estimates) to your customers and purchase documents (i.e. purchases, supplier returns and orders) to your vendors, suppliers).

With this plugin you'll never forget to charge your members for a subscription.
You can define for each member :
■Which product or service they bought.
■The repeating frequency (x times per day, week, month, etc.).
■A warning period in which you get automatically reminded to send the customer a notice for continuing using your services (e.g. 31 days before the invoicing date).
■So you'll always get reminded to remind your customer to renew his/her subscriptions.

This plugin adds the multi-user agenda (multiple agendas) to the Calendar (Planner). You can add agendas and link them as default to the current user. For every agenda a tab will appear in the agenda Calendar so you can see what the appointments, etc. are on other agendas. You can have a agenda for each employee, salesperson, user, etc. and create invoices directly from his / her agenda with a simple click. Each agenda has it's own calendar and task list.

The multimedia plug-in is a versatile product. With this plugin you can add documents, images, movies, emails, additional product descriptions or any file which is connected with program to products (inventory items), customers (customers), vendors, documents (i.e. Invoices, etc.).
For example, you can link an image to inventory items or customers but also link signed and scanned documents to customers.

•Percentage of the average cost price
•Percentage of the latest cost price
•Amount per item
You can also set a special price for specific customers or vendors per product, which overrule the default product price.
These also a special field available in which you can add the suppliers product number.
Also possible for multiple suppliers.
This field can also be used for information text why this customer/vendor has a special price.
You can have a start or and end date for the agreement.
Prices can be linked from inventory group to customer group so the maintaining of the price agreements for larger groups is possible in a easy way.

With this plugin you can create a checkout system specifically for catering.
The use of hand-held computers can speed up the serving of customers and gives you a control of the ordered products.
After recording an order at a table, the ticket printer in the kitchen and / or bar and / or POS pc will be used for the specific printout of the products.
You can specify a product to be a "kitchen" or "bar" product, and thus the printer specified is used to print the order.
You can even use product options such as butter, mustard, bread, etc. if the customer chooses that.
Products can be selected through a quick search function based on the starting letter of the product.
Or through icon based images of the product group and ultimately the product.
With the floor plan of the terrace or room, you can manage tables indicate how many place settings are used.

This plugin allows you a quick and easy way to order your products.
From your PC or using a handheld PC or smart phone (through Remote Desktop / Terminal Services or RDP).
You walk with a handheld through your warehouse, and scan or selected the product to order while standing next to the shelf.
You see immediately actual inventory numbers so that a good decision of the quantity to order can be made.
After pressing a button it creates an order with the specified numbers.
After which only a few clicks of the mouse will break down the order by vendor.
c)Inventory check / Inventory correction - Manual - Shop - Once-off license - Dutch only - Needs to be translated
This plugin allows you to perform an inventory count.
From your PC or Handheld PC or smart phone (through Remote Desktop / RDP or Terminal Services).
After pressing a button a credit note is created with the incorrect numbers.
And of course the inventory numbers will be corrected.

c)HandyTools - This is a free plugin. It is recommended that only advanced users should use this. Please make Backups of your Set of Books before using this plugin.
d)Register plugins - Manual - When you have purchased a plugin, you need to enter and add the codes to register the plugins.
e)Reportman - Manual - Free.
This plugin is by default installed and may be accessed from the Report designer icon on the Reports or Setup ribbons.
This is a very powerful report generator and designer for printing reports and layout files. You may add your own reports, customize existing reports, as well as document layout files for sales documents (i.e. estimates, invoices, credit notes, delivery notes, etc.) as well as purchase documents (i.e. orders, purchases, supplier returns, etc.).
There are various default layout files and reports included in the installation of TurboCASH / osFinancials.
It is highly recommended to always make a copy of a report or layout file and that you edit the copy of the file. This is important for some of the following reasons:
■Allows you always fall back on the original report or layout if things go wrong.
■A second tip is, rename all your layouts or reports, so that it is not overwritten when possible re-installation by the standard supplied with layouts.
f)SQLBrowser - Manual - Shop - Once-off license -
Anything can be exported to the XML (Extensible Mark-up Language), HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language), Microsoft Excel, or Text File formats.
Using the SQLBrowser plugin, you can produce your own custom view of your data in TurboCASH and osFinancials. A program to edit your data in the Set of Books database. SQL knowledge is necessary. If you are more than expert than the average user and you know how to write SQL (Structured Query Language) then you will love the SQLBrowser. Make any valid SQL query and run it.
The return or result of your SQL rows can be grouped, filtered and sorted with just a few mouse clicks.
This SQL browser also allows drag and drop features, which make it easy to work with. Anything can be exported to the XML (Extensible Mark-up Language), HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language), Microsoft Excel, or Text File formats.
Even if you are not an expert in the details or file structure of TurboCASH / osFinancials, you can also use this SQLBrowser to filter and sort to see what you need to see.
You may also use the SQL Browser to filter, sort and analyze your data. This option allows you to generate queries and connect to the Database of a selected Set of Books using the Structured Query Language (SQL) standard. The SQLBrowser will list all the Firebird Database Files (*.fdb File extension) for the Set of Books.
