Plugins are included in the TurboCASH5.2 installation. By default, some Plugins are not available from the Plugins menu on the Setup ribbon. 

The following plugins in the TurboCASH5.2 subscription, are activated (updated in the "Plugins load list") and will be available on the Plugins menu on the Setup ribbon:

  1. Document plugins → Document E-mail Pro 
  2. Generic plugins → Multimedia 

Any other Plugins, except the Bank import plugin, needs to be activated to be listed on Tools → Activate plugins menu on the Setup ribbon.  This will update the "Plugins load list".

Some of the Plugins has a nag screen, some plugins are limited to a number of records, etc. Plugins need to purchased from the online osfshop and need to be registered (on the Setup ribbon, select Tools → Activate plugins), before you can use them.

Some plugins need to be activated for each Set of Books. If you have purchased a plugin, you may use it in any Set of Books.

Bank import plugin - Bank Reconciliations Plugin Manual - BankImport Plugin Manual - Shop - Tutorial - Once-off license - Bundled with the TurboCASH5.2 subscription.

The Bankimport plugin will import bank transactions and save you hours of data entry. You can simply link transactions to your debtors, creditors or other accounts. And with a simple mouse click link the payments to the right invoices. 

Needs to be activated on the Setup ribbon, select Setup → System Parameters.


Plugins menu structure

With this plugin you can email your documents (invoices or quotes). Each email you sent can get a different layout. For example: an invoice gets a different layout from a quote. You can create the email layout yourself. For that reason you decide what kind of email you will send. 

It is also possible to send multiple examples of you documents at once. Therefore the document layout and email layout of the documents you want to send have to be the same. 

It's even possible to send multiple document at the same time. Therefore the documents most be the same type (f.e. quote or invoice). With this plugin you can send digital (pdf) sales documents (i.e. invoices, credit notes and quotes) to your debtors (customers / clients) and purchase documents (i.e. purchases, supplier returns and orders) to your creditors, suppliers).

With this plugin you can have quantity discount on 4 levels.

These prices will overrule the default Selling price 1 till 3 and can be set per debtor or creditor.

You can define price agreement in the following ways:

        • Discount on the default sales price
        • Percentage of the average cost price
        • Percentage of the latest cost price
        • Amount per item

You can also set a special price for specific debtors or creditors per product, which overrule the default product price.

These also a special field available in which you can add the suppliers product number.

Also possible for multiple suppliers.

This field can also be used for information text why this debtor/creditor has a special price.

You can have a start or and end date for the agreement.

Prices can be linked from stock group to debtor group so the maintaining of the price agreements for larger groups is possible in a easy way.

The Subscriptions plugin is written for those businesses which sell subscriptions, e.g. magazines, newspapers, membership fees, gymnasiums, etc. This Subscriptions plugin could also be used for rental industries, renting items to their customers on for example a monthly basis. 

With this plugin you'll never forget to charge your members for a subscription. 

You can define for each member :

      • Which product or service they bought.
      • The repeating frequency (x times per day, week, month, etc.).
      • A warning period in which you get automatically reminded to send the customer a notice for continuing using your services (e.g. 31 days before the invoicing date).
      • So you'll always get reminded to remind your customer to renew his/her subscriptions.
      • The quantity of days before or after the renewal date TurboCASH let you create the invoice by a click on a button.
      • A different contract period (e.g. 1 year) with the invoicing period (e.g. per month).

This plugin adds the multi-user agenda (multiple agendas) to the Calendar (Planner). You can add agendas and link them as default to the current user. For every agenda a tab will appear in the agenda Calendar so you can see what the appointments, etc. are on other agendas. 

You can have a agenda for each employee, salesperson, user, etc. and create invoices directly from his / her agenda with a simple click. Each agenda has it's own calendar and task list.

With this plugin you can create a checkout system specifically for catering. 
The use of hand-held computers can speed up the serving of customers and gives you a control of the ordered products.

This plugin is by default installed and may be accessed from the Report designer icon on the Reports or Setup ribbons. 


This is a very powerful report generator and designer for printing reports and layout files. You may add your own reports, customise existing reports, as well as document layout files for sales documents (i.e. quotes, invoices, credit notes, delivery notes, etc.) as well as purchase documents (i.e. orders, purchases, supplier returns, etc.). 

There are various default layout files and reports included in the installation of TurboCASH / osFinancials.

It is highly recommended to always make a copy of a report or layout file and that you edit the copy of the file. This is important for some of the following reasons:

      • Allows you always fall back on the original report or layout if things go wrong.
      • A second tip is, rename all your layouts or reports, so that it is not overwritten when possible re-installation by the standard supplied with layouts.

Anything can be exported to the XML (Extensible Mark-up Language), HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language), Microsoft Excel, or Text File formats. 

Using the SQLBrowser plugin, you can produce your own custom view of your data in TurboCASH and osFinancials. A program to edit your data in the Set of Books database. SQL knowledge is necessary. If you are more than expert than the average user and you know how to write SQL (Structured Query Language) then you will love the SQLBrowser. Make any valid SQL query and run it. 

The return or result of your SQL rows can be grouped, filtered and sorted with just a few mouse clicks. 

This SQL browser also allows drag and drop features, which make it easy to work with. Anything can be exported to the XML (Extensible Mark-up Language), HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language), Microsoft Excel, or Text File formats. 

Even if you are not an expert in the details or file structure of TurboCASH / osFinancials, you can also use this SQLBrowser to filter and sort to see what you need to see. 

You may also use the SQL Browser to filter, sort and analyse your data. This option allows you to generate queries and connect to the Database of a selected Set of Books using the Structured Query Language (SQL) standard. The SQLBrowser will list all the Firebird Database Files (*.fdb File extension) for the Set of Books.
