Edit or Rename Batch Types (Journals)

This option is used to edit or rename a Batch Type. You may also need to rename an existing Batch Type (Journal).

To Edit a Batch Type:

Click on the Setup→System Parameters→Batch Type menu option.
- Keyboard Access: Press the Alt+S+S+B keys on your keyboard.
The Batch Type screen is displayed:
Select an existing Batch Type from the list.
Click on the Edit button. The following confirmation screen is displayed:
Click on the Yes button. The following screen will be displayed:
Enter the new name for the Batch Type.
Click on the OK button. The following confirmation screen is displayed:
Click on the No button to rename the Batch Type. If you click on the Yes button, the process will be terminated.
Click on the Close button, or press the Esc key on your keyboard, to close or exit this screen.
