Delete Batch Types or Journals
This option is used to delete or permanently remove an existing batch type in a Set of Books. TurboCASH will not allow you to delete a batch type if there are any transactions in batches associated with the batch type.
To Delete a Batch Type:

Click on the Setup→System Parameters→Batch Type menu option.
- Keyboard Access: Press the Alt+S+S+B keys on your keyboard.
The Batch Type screen is displayed:

Select an existing Batch Type from the list.

Click on the Delete button. The following confirmation screen is displayed:

Click on the Yes button to permanently remove the batch type from the Set of Books. Should you click on the No button, the process will be aborted.

Click on the OK button, or press the Esc key on your keyboard, to close or exit this screen.

The following error message will be displayed if a batch type has transactions associated with the selected batch type:

Click on the OK button, or press the Enter key on your keyboard.
